Whilst on a hunt for something different to listen to Ive decided I want to buy some Tom Waits as most people claim his genius and Im bored to death of what Im listening to at the moment-I want something to grab me.

Where should I start people?
Alternatively suggest anything good I should check out, Im particularly intrested in oldschool singers like TW, some depressing style country would be good or blues or new orleans jazzy kinda stuff. Or some good portishead style chill out beats or generally anything!!!
I just need a change lol xx
