I'm looking at doing one of these over the holidays, and I'd like some advice on which ones to do. Basically I'd just like to learn how to set up PA systems and soundcheck etc. Any extra music tech stuff would be a bonus.

I dont really have the time to do something that takes a matter of months and I'm sorely tempted to do this:
