Just back from Patrick Wolf in Newcastle tonight, and as I expected it was fantastic. He came on dressed like a gay stripper, played an amazing set with just him alone and occasionally a drummer. Therefore, this made for more than one quiet, spine-tingling moment. Which brings me onto my point, the one gripe I had about this gig. PEOPLE FUCKING TALKING LOUDLY! Now I understand that people talk at gigs, you obviously don't expect everyone in the room to be totally silent, but it's just really really impolite, not to mention annoying when there are people who are clearly there just for a drink and a natter with their mates. That's what pubs are for! Anyway, sorry, this wasn't meant to be as ranty as it turned out, it just annoys the fuck out of me that people are quite often so inconsiderate.
