now you could say i'm just looking for a subject for my first post, which would be right, but why isn't there anything on the site about this chap...?

i got the album, micah p hinson and the gospel of progress, towards the end of last year after the closing track was on the uncut best of 2005. that track blew me away but the album sort of passed me by on first listen but i've just rediscovered it. can the site do late review sort of things, cause it needs someone better with words than me to push it. if you've not heard it, think troubled tortured, one man and a lot of ideas, type stuff, but without the blandness which tends to inhibit that stuff. maybe a little sparklehorse-y in the general mood.

anyway, he's on a tour with that banhart fellow's band (i think they're called fetiver), was just wondering if anyone can reccomend them before i blow my hard earned dole cash on a ticket...?
