Bands that you spent a long time hating, until a subtle shift in your musical tastes makes you realise that you're an idiot and quite wrong.

Me, Arab Strap. Spent the 90's reading about them in what seemed like every single music mag, seeing the crappy artwork for Philophobia everywhere, heard a couple of tunes on free Select tapes, absolutely hated them, the talentless bastards...
Until last year, when I actually sat down and listened to Monday At The Hug And Pint, and it blew me away. Now I've got all the albums, all the solo albums, and I'd say they were one of my favourite bands ever.

Anyone else had to eat tasty humble pie?
