Jest got back from the mud bath that was the Radio 1 Big Weekend! Christ i got caked in mud. The queue was crazy and managed to miss Maximo Park. Saw the following three bands:

Are these guys for real? A fucking freak show of the highest order. Absolutly terrible... what the fuck was i thinking!

Interpol
Never seen them before, so was really looking forward to this. Hmm, it was quite good, but didn't really blow me away. Am I alone in thinking their music may not suit a live performance. Maybe i expected too much. btw, i am a big fan.

Futureheads
Hadn't seen them since the middle of last year. They were by far the better of the three. Ah, you can always rely on them for a good night. Fast furious sing-a-long action. Had the whole tent 3000+ people jumping. Great stuff lads! But, the album is nearly a year old now, where's the new material? Only played 1 track i'd never heard before.
