I thought of starting a Favorite Serial Killers thread, but then I thought....no, how about a Most Annoying Acts of the 80s.

Heaven 17. For some reason this fey dance group keeps popping up on VH1s The Alternative. "I'm guilty of no crime" Ha!

Depeche Mode. Ditto.

Simple Minds escape my wrath cos New Gold Dream was pretty damn good. But all the songs in those John Hughes films were bloody awful.

Ned's Atomic Dustbin. Never did figure out if these guys were great or utterly terrible.

Adam & the Ants. If I was a girl I'd have liked them.

Wham. I'll leave this one for mr ralphcore to review.

The Alarm. Shit U2 tribute band.

Duran Duran. I contend their best work was after they reformed. That 'Ordinary' something single was pretty decent.

I don't wanna steal all the fun here. Slag away.
