Myself and username: igethitbyemokids have formed a two piece David Bowie covers band for a friend's birthday party.
cos we consist of a guitarist (him) and drummer (me - hell, if meg white can do it, i can) and nowt else, we've chosen the name The Thin White Stripes. as in the thin white duke and the white stripes. but that sounds a bit more like we're just calling jack white fat. which may or may not be funny, but certainy isnt our main ambition.
so can anyone strain their wit to grant us a better name?
the only other suggestion so far as been the Aubergine Genies. but thats kinda an in joke.
help?

(and yes, there are a million best band name threads up at the moment that i could have appended this to. but i'm funny, nay hilarious like this.)
