I was playing the Pixies today and my friend started singing

where

'This monkey's gone to heaven'

should be. And he has three Pixies albums. Eejit!

Also I have always sung (sang?)

'My father, is gonna hurt me'

instead of

'Why bother, it's gonna hurt me'

in Why Bother by Weezer. The clue to the right lyrics is in the title! Does anyone else have this kind of problem?
