Since I've been hanging around I've told more little white lies than I can count. Amongst them:

Antics is definately not better than TOTBL.
"Slint are shite." That was a lie!
"I saw Ziggy at the Santa Monica Civic."* I was five then but there in spirit!
"Stephen Malkmus plagerized my work for lyrics on Crooked Rain/Crooked Rain."* Not true. It was Slanted and Enchanted.

*There I lied again. I didn't really say that, but I wouldn't put it past me.

I said s/t Libs was better than Up the Bracket. Not true.
I said Razorlight was cool. That's debatable.
I said I'd love to see sean in a hot air balloon with Richard Branson. That's a lie. I could give a fuck.
I said Courtney Love was cool. I was wrong, though. She's just fat.
I said Madonna is better than Kylie. That's true!
I said Matchbox 20 has some redemable qualities. Whoops, there I'm back to lying!
I said I was shitty on guitar. Mmm, horribly mediocre is probably more accurate. (That's after listening to the beginning guitarist neighbor. "That's not a G chord! That's not even close!!" If the kid says one more time his "pinkie won't do that" I may just break the guitar over his head.)

OK, Mr Brainlove this is your opportunity to come clean. Admit once and for all that you're the president of the Chris Martin fan club. Please.
