HifH Gig
Saw HifH last night. Met Soapy there. Hi Soapy, did you enjoying hanging round with us old farts?!??!!? ;-)
Support were, Alamos & Kids Near Water.
Alamos
Second time i've seen them. Only really caught the backend (last 4 tracks) of their set. They've greatly improved since last time, but i still feel they need another guitarist. Good band, just lacking a little.
Kids Near Water
Sorry, but i'd heard 'goodish' report about these, but i just found them ordinary and slighty bland.
Hell is for Heroes
Well what can i say... bit of a nightmare really. Justin was very ill, and nearly cancelled. He came out eventually, and managed 3 songs, but he could hardly move and hardly sing. Then the band asked if someone wanted to come on stage and sing a song!??! Some young punk got on stage and totally rocked the place! Everyone went metal, top stuff! But then they got FOUR people to sing the next and it kinda fell to peices, shame. Justin returned for one more track, but it was hardly worth it... barley able to sing a note!
With the promise of a return 'free' gig, everyone seemed to leave in a good mood!
Overall a good night, if a trifle disappointing!
Whats your thoughts Soapy?
