Cay
just won cay's nature creates freaks for £2 on ebay, and its taking me on a complete nostalgia trip. saw them about 4 times back in about 99, including once co-headlining with muse, a few times at the joiners and then i think at reading (they disappeared right after).
its weird how i recognise every song on the record from seeing them 4 times about 6 years ago, but anyway its a pretty damn great album, shame that they split up, but i believe someone on here said they were pawning their guitars for smack? always a mistake that. but then again they wouldn't have been a good grunge/postgrunge band without the smack. hmm maybe if my vitriol had done a bit more smack then their album would have been better...listened to it the other day and realised why i gave it away to someone a few weeks after buying it. after the excitement of the truly great first few singles, the album was a big old mess with not a lot of hooks.
anyway just thought i would give everyone another flashback to the days of melody maker and the evening session.
