Now, I haven't seen an Idlewild gig before but I thought they were fantastic last night! They weren't jumping around like idiots (as they apparently did in their early days) but it was a full-of-energy performance. And they played lots of songs from the first 2 full albums - Little Discourage went down especially well.

The point of all this is that I was a bit worried after their lurch to stadium rock but it was one of the best gigs I've been to! Hooray.
