I need some advice with regard to jazz/funk albums to purchase. So far, I have acquired Miles Davis' "Kind Of Blue" and I desperately want Herbie Hancock (names escapes me) album.

What else should I check out, with regard to quality jazz and funk? Predominately acid jazz, wit some funk thrown in. Come on, people - fill me in, like a cake filling, as it were.

Although I am rather fucked, this is a very serious question. Please advise me...
