Clear Channel New Venue New Danger

• The world’s biggest concert promoter, Clear Channel has stepped up its UK presence by acquiring a stake in the Mean Fiddler Group. It has joined forces with the Irish owned MCD Productions to buy out founder Vince Power’s 34.9% share of MFG.
Clear Channel has also launched a new London music event called the Wireless Festival. It will run in two parts from June 24 -25 and then June 29-30 and acts confirmed so far include, New Order, Basement Jaxx, Keane and Kasabian.
Not sure if many people know about the stance of this cancerous promoter, however they are a MASSIVE company who are in the pockets more or less of the BUSH administration they have taken certain bands off of their US playlists as they own most of the radio station in the US, the reason for the excluision of certain bands is due to anti BU$H sentiments, they have now got their claws into the UK you may have seen their billboards polluting the landscape, however a company such as this should not be opening venues they will like they have done in the US strangle local independents, and they will also censor artists that do not fit their criteria, the fact they have teamed up with Mean Fiddler is sickening, Mean Fiddler the group who runs part of Glastonbury, Glastonbury being the festival of freedom and anti censorship. slowly the wheels of monoplolisation turn.
