just downloaded a bootleg of the alice in chains reunion show thingy in seattle, and oh my god, do american crowds never fucking shut up? either the guy recording this boot happened to be standing next to the most annoying people ever, or american crowds just never ever ever shut up. not one line of any song can be heard without someone either 'woo'-ing or shouting some other crap. maybe that's why the arcade fire were so shocked at the crowds 'politeness' at the kings college? to me it just seems normal to not have loud conversations whilst people try to perform for you.
