has ebay had a positive or negative effect on the live music scene?

Personally i believe that ebay has done me a favour, as i can usually find tickets on there for bands who sell out venues in minutes. recently, i got an nme tour ticket for the reasonable price of £35. it's also good place to get rid of any spare tickets. opinions?
