I'm kinda putting together some songs at the moment, but I can't help but wonder if it'd be possible to do them live. I'd definately like it to be in a 'band'-type setup: live bass, vocals, and guitar, probably with sequenced drums and synth. My question to anyone with gigging experience is: would this be an utter technical nightmare to do live? Mixing live instrumentation and laptop-based stuff? Does anyone here do it? I'm imagining all kinds of nightmares of missing cues, not being able to hear the beats you're accompanying..
