We've decided that it'd be good if we could made a few quid from ads. I know it's wrong and bad and helps big monopolistic and monolithic companies who do little to no good for the world, but in order to do good we've gotta use some of their power against them, judo style.

We do refuse to ever do pop-ups. And we'll obviously never let spamming internet killers near email lists (we'd get in trouble legally for doing that too!). And we'll try to keep these ads relevant. And will be selling cheap space to bands and labels we like. And the like.

Be curious what you all think and if the reservations are massive and i can totally understand if they are (as it's not something i've ever been in a hurry to do) we'll just have to find some other ways to cover the rent and help fund the expansion of DiS with more staff, etc... but I hope the reason for doing this is understandable and the cause and effect is worth it.
