Dear other DiS-ers

I expect that everyone has by now gone to a news page in the last couple of days, perhaps on the sly whilst trying to use your work/school/uni/mate's computer when you think no-one's looking, only to have your ears assaulted at ridiculous volumn by the new Idlewild song.

Perhaps, like me, you're a big fan of Idlewild. Perhaps not. Either way, as a long-time user of Drownedinsound I'd like to suggest that a) these adverts kill any happiness you may/may not have been feeling about any band making a comeback, and instead just make you want everyone involved to die, and that b) we petition everyone involved to fucking well stop it right here and now.

I apologise to Sean and everyone else at DiS because obviously you need advertising revenue to keep the site going, but it's just really, really annoying and means I've had to stop looking at the site, just in case.
