American Bands And Touring

Alex_b [Edit] [Delete] 12:06, 14 February '07

Okay, we all know that many (not all) American Bands -eg Tool, Explosions in the sky (on this tour anyway)- are notoriously Terrible at choosing an even distribution of gigs. However- If you look at how they tour in the states, playing each state but once, and the fact that many American fans happily travel 6 hours to see a band, Are British Fans just being lazy? Or does it highlight fundamental inadequacies in our road and public transport services that most British people are unwilling to travel more than 2 hours to see a band?

Discuss.
