partly inspired by the "albums nobody else would own" and partly inspired by the strange thing that is signed bands falling into complete obscurity, but mainly inspired by me wondering who the hell they are, I'd like to know if anyone knows anything about a band called Carnival Art.

We have a tape of theirs in our tour bus (ford fiesta) that Matt the guitarist's older brother left in there ages ago. All I could find out is the album is called Thrumdrone, was on The Charlatans Beggars Banquet imprint Situation Two, and was released in 1992. Apart from that one catlogue entry I found on the internet, there is no trace of them anywhere.

Anyone on here have a clue who they were? It's completely hilarious, sounds like what would happen in Jon Bon Jovi started a madchester band like The Soup Dragons.
