why oh why stupid bob would write such bad lyrics defending israels foreign policy and tie it to one of his shitest songs outside of empire burlesque, i DO NOT KNOW.

at the same time i can forgive neil young his very occasional hints of political conservatism because i know his personal history, and so can realise that his more isolationist tendencies seemed tied into his family problems/difficulties in some way, and because in the end he's always proven himself to be a decent human above everything else.
