Hmmm. Y'know, love the guy. Love The Letting Go. Love his back catalogue. But tonight's show was a bit duff.

Maybe it was the venue's utter lack of intimacy prompting a show that was suitably distant. But even if there was plenty to enjoy (the duets with Dawn McCarthy were all lush; an electrified Master and Everyone was quirky), it just did not live up to expectations.
