Book suggestions

Podge9 [Edit] [Delete] 16:34, 11 January '05
I'm a commuter so I spend most of my life on trains. It’s during this time that I do most (virtually all) of my reading.

In the past, I’ve generally read pretty low level stuff, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Dan Brown that kind of thing. Considering King has now retired and every single Koontz book is exactly the same, I think it’s time to move on to something a bit more substantial.

So, I’m after some recommendations really. I’m not really after replacements for these authors, I’m after something a bit different. I still want escapism and entertainment so keep your Stephen Hawking and Leo Tolstoy suggestions to a minimum but if you can think of some interesting authors/books, post your ideas.

Cheers
