Well I learnt an important lesson this year.

At a gig, don't EVER stick your ear up to a monitor on stage in a moment of manic elation because it will rapidly lead to deafness in that ear. Perhaps of equal importance, don't get so smashed that you do this repeatedly.

Take care of your ears people. And please don't do daft things like this!
