So, a thread about messageboards, then about additional boards, now, we're gonna change the layout the site a little, but what layouts are your favourites? Do you like the everything and everything else style of www.popmatters.com or the less is less because there is a lot less recent content style of www.rockfeedback.com or the tidy overwhelming mess that is www.pitchforkmedia.com ?

What would you ideal incarnation of DiS look like and do? Which bits are frustrating for you to navigate? Should we just cut the frontpage down to the best bits (i.e. quality control it like evil editors who pick and choose what gets frontpage coverage, in order that what does get on the front, does get the upmost attention!) and then tuck everything else away neatly behind the scenes for those who wanna browse?

My main worry at the moment is that the bulk of people only read about things they've heard about, which makes us just as bad as radio1! Whereas we could be revealing new stuff and making bigger and grander recommendations.

What does dis need more of? And less of? And more made of?
