Plug 'em in and they pretty much all sound the same, eh? My mate has an old Gibson (the exact type Carl Barat, the guy from Garbage both play) and it's great. Think he got a junkie-in-desperate-need-of-cash price, so I'm thinking this is a little outta my price and effort range. Keeping in mind I'm on a budget, set me up! I really like the hollow/semi-hollow bodies. Like the Ibanez Strat-lookalikes, too. Whadda you guys think? Also, what are the essential accessories? What sort of (practice) amps? Pedals? Gimme yer advice, please. :-)
