Did anybody else have the dubious pleasure of catching 'Americas Craziest Criminals 74', or whatever it was on ITV last night?

Normally, this type of programme washes over me with just the usual stereotypical comments about how stupid some Americans can be, only last night two things stuck in my mind. One, they showed a clip of the Heysel Stadium Disaster and described how "crazed British soccer hooligans went on the rampage", then showed footage of "scared Italians running for their lives". That these 'scared' fans were wearing red shirts and flags emblazoned with Liverpool seemed to be irrelevant, as long as the message that British 'soccer' fans were all thugs was got across.

Anyway, the second thing is slightly more universal. From some dumb car chase thing down a freeway, this is a direct quote from the narrator:

"Proof that even a white criminal is still a criminal". WTF?!?!?
