Last night at Infinity, Patrick Wolf was amazing. Like, really fantastic. His new songs are brilliant, 'The Libertine', the new single, sounded fantastic and the whole thing was very, very special. It was slightly spoiled by idiots who insisted on talking loudly all the way through though, but apart from those idiots it was ace.

And of the three other bands, Apartment really impressed me. Great songs, star quality, nice attitude and some sexy black shirts. Really good band who have the potential to go further. I don't think Jason and the Astronauts did themselves justice, I'm sure they could be better than they were last night, and as for Great Days of Sail...well, i'm sure they were good, but again the noisy too-cool-for-school dickheads down the front kinda drowned them out.

Overall though, an awesome night. Patrick Wolf is once again my hero.
