Since my own personal 9/11 I've been spending a lot of time at the record stores... and I've got a couple of complaints. First. I may have only gone to the Blur school of wardrobe (rugby shirts and jeans) but I'm pretty sure the hip chick behind the counter with her blue hair, tattoos, and nose piercings ought to know something about music. If I say where's the Bunnymen I don't want the hip chick's nose to crinkle like I've told a terrible knock-knock joke. There's Mansun and there's Marilyn and they're not the same! And while I'm at it, lemme tell you how absolutely opposed I am to the phrase "out of print." Fuck out-of-print!

On a happier note, I did get Elliot Smith's new one. :-)
