I happened across an immensely amusing article today from the Chicago Tribune about the continuing rise of the enigma that is Pitchfork Media. It made me laugh because it demonstrated just how much time and energy music fans the world over have invested in fervent Pitchfork-hatred, and yet how those same music fans visit the site religiously every single day...

So come on everyone:
Love? Hate? Both? Neither?

The site's genius, for me at least, lies in how audaciously over-stylised it is, and how any given piece can grate and inspire in equal measures. It's all part of the fun...
