Last night I went out in 'the smoke', cos that's the kind of crazy guy I am, and whilst there, I happened to see three bands in one room. One was ok. One was fucking astounding. One kinda won me over.

Agent Blue - Ok. There's just something missing though. They were ace at Reading, in a kinda Northern Uproar-young-dumb-etc. way, but last night...I don't know. They're still 6 tunes short of a full set list though. 6/10

Amusement Parks On Fire - Possible the best band in the UK right now, amazing stuff. Big sonic noise assault with nary a gap to show my appreciation of their long feedback noise solo geniusness. 9/10

Your Code Name Is:Milo - They weren't as bad as I thought they were going to be. I was going to go to the pub when they came on, but they kept me watching and actually had some good tunes in their somewhere. Terrible hat though. 7/10
