Much is made of 'who started it all'. Iggy is often given the godfather of punk crown. (I'm not sure I'd go along with that, though.) But it seems most of us fall into fans of the 'alternative' genre. (Yeah, I know you hate labels, but for lack of a better term.) Who started it all? Was it XTC? Joy Division, perhaps?
