I've noticed Mr. Teepee had already started a Best Covers thread and so I feel compelled to start a new one, even if it's a shit idea. Like this one.

What fav-band of yours turned out to be the biggest disappointment live?

Mine:
The Cure. Love 'em, but god-help-me they're a fookin' bore live. I was mildly more impressed after I'd learned to play the guitar and I could more fully appreciate Robert's talents... but they were still boring. All 14 times I've seen them.
