Can't say for Brit adverts, but on this side of things Madison Ave is busy getting 'hip'. Bowie flower commercials, Led Zep Cadillacs, even the fucking Stones are now hocking something or another. Here's my fav: the great sick marketing company that has the Dandys overdubbed on some car commercial "what a great car!" and I sing along, supplying the TV with the next line, "yeah, what's wrong with it today?"
