Whoo. I always seem to go into SSW with a certain amount of foreboding and come out the other end wondering why I ever doubted it.

Highlights? Of Montreal were intense and amazing, The Mae Shi were entertaining, Lykke Li is barmy in a good way and covered Can I Kick It?, Nina Nastasia, Rachel Unthank & the Winterset and Dawn Landes were all quietly great, Fuck Buttons were loudly great, Danny And The Champions of The World brought the sun, the fun and the Truck monster, Project Notion are going to be the Melton Mowbray This Town Needs Guns only they don't know it yet, Jeffrey Lewis didn't even do Williamsburg Will Oldham Horror and was still very good... apart from the weather on Saturday and the deterioration of The Sea Cow's fish it was a great weekend.
