Liverpool's noisiest boy/girl rock'n'roll duo, Dirtblonde, have a fairly new (monthly) club night at Korova, in Liverpool, called F*CK.

For those trivia fans, the venue is a joint-enterprise of the Ladytron guys and their associates, and the club night takes place in the cool dingy basement that was the setting for the Arctic Monkeys album cover!

It's definitely the coolest venues in Liverpool, and bands as diverse as The Long Blondes, Ladytron, Popular Workshop, The Automactic, Longcut, Mystery Jets, Little Flames, Robots in Disguise, Too Many DJs etc, have played there.

All bands get paid, whether you're signed or not! And our F*CK night is establishing itself as one of Korova's best and most diverse club nights! This month we had none other than James Endeacott (former A&R legend of Rough Trade, who signed The Libertines) showcasing his new label, Sony Music's 1965 Records. It was a classic night…Endeacott could be seen dancing drunkenly on the dancefloor, excited about his brightest hopes, headliner's The View, who supported Babyshambles and Primal Scream recently.

More cool stuff to come in the next few moths…from the cool noise of Oxfam Glamour Models, to, hopefully, a F*CK vs. Death Disco (as soon as Alan McGee is not too busy with Dirty Pretty Things…)
