Blood Red Shoes
Blood Red Shoes is two people, Laura-Mary, who wishes she were Spanish, and Steven who wishes he were French, only they both live in Brighton on the south coast of England. After their previous bands ceased activity (Lady Muck and Cat On Form respectively) in late 2004 they got together for a jam for fun, Steven took up the drum kit and Laura-Mary played her guitar. It was loud for just two people.
Projections
projections is a band, we write music between the 3 of us in whatever way we all agree on, we currently use drums, guitar, keyboard, bass, voice and bits and bobs of percussion. some shows we play improvised, some we play songs that have been written, some we play a mixture. sometimes we like to try something complex and sometimes we want something very simple.
Lust
After their first promising album (cf. rolling stone), produced by the californian label redwood records (chokebore, vermillion.), lust fell in love with the american dream. Following up their show with Pixies and Franz Ferdinand at the “eurockéennes de Belfort (the France’s biggest rock festival), they flew to Chicago to record a new album with Steve Albini (legendary producer of nirvana, pixies, pj harvey...)
The Sailplanes
Taut, unsettling, unusually cinematic art-rock that conjure up black and white dreams of knife-wielding girls and breathless chases down narrow streets in some romantic old European capital.
