Get ready to party like it’s 1991 (via 1969) to classic shoegazing and psychedelic sounds from the Velvets to the Valentines as the SONIC CATHEDRAL opens its doors for worship for the first of two ceremonies at THE LEGION on THURSDAY MAY 18. Playing live we have legendary Washington DC psychedelic stoner rock trio DEAD MEADOW, who are playing before their appointment at All Tomorrow’s Parties and their tour with Dinosaur Jr. In support we have the glorious, string-laden Paisley Underground (via Peckham) sounds of THE LEA SHORES, while BEYOND THE WIZARDS SLEEVE will be unleashing their psychedelic mayhem on the decks.
