Produced by Yorkie (ex Space), their debut single ‘Loose Ends’ is out now onPimp Millipede Recordings and has already had radio airplay. Since their inception, 18 months ago, SEVEN SEALS are fast becoming one of the most compelling live bands in the UK. Their Prog-punk mixture takes in elements of early Roxy Music, Can, Eno, early Genesis, Television, Pere Ubu & The Fall. The bands stunning performance at last years ITC 2005 in Manchester secured them both a recording and publishing deal. MISS BLACK AMERICA - EMOTIONAL JUNKMAIL released 1st May on Ruby Slippers Records: "The best voice-to-the-voiceless punk rockers around" - Rock Sound - Celebrating a release about constant bombardment from the advertising world and a rip roaring live show.Their sound is a direct reaction to the boredom and frustration of small-town life, and their incendiary live shows quickly earning them a rabid and loyal fan base. Described as "Your new cult heroes" by NME, sometimes (!), they lit rip at New Cross Inn http://www.missblackamerica.net / http://www.myspace.com/missblackamerica
"We're not a punk band, we're DIY - it's a new movement where we do what we want..." If you've seen BRAND B before, you'll know what they mean. Even if you havent seen them on stage you'll have noticed them off stage. Come and witness! "Brand B, you see, are a 'proper' punk band, i.e. they have brains, political awareness, and a series of loud songs under 3 minutes long. Oh and they kick arse, big time. This is not, we repeat, NOT faux-punk/rock" (Wired Magazine). They cut their teeth a couple of years ago, kicking arse live around Croydon and New Cross Paradise Bar- the place wouldnt have been the same without their DIY xlntly unchic ART. They're the closest thing to REAL. Through various knockbacks of poverty like homelessness and stuff Brand B have kept the flag flying, sorted out their line up so that they could play more, got tighter, got management, got better gigs, got some fans and basically got going. They've also been invited to support Discharge in the near future. For now, you can see them up close tonight. http://www.myspace.com/brandb
