THE SWEAR
The Swear, are a grrrl-fronted four-piece from South London, they mesh Dischord-style D.I.Y punk and scratchy new wave pop to create an energetic and sharp live experience. They appeared upon the NME’s compilation of the year in 2005 alongside the likes of Art brut and Bloc Party. A track from their highly acclaimed “Repeat It Repeat it� EP is slated to appear on “GodIsInTheCd� a charity compilation of bands. They are a thrilling live prospect!Come and see for yourself!

One of Cardiff's most exciting bands, this brilliantly twisted angular, three piece bring with them a sound that has been compared to Sonic Youth, The White Stripes and the Pixies. Last year they signed to Fantastic plastic records and are set to release their second single "Amatuer Man/Ban the Gin" on 7" and Cd on the 3rd of April. Catch this highly exposive beat combo who have received praised from the likes of the independent and the NME.

Gemma Ray Ritual
London-based six-piece are led by the enigma that is Gemma Ray (vox, guitar), and featuring ex-Ten Bensons Andrew Zammit (drums) and Johnny Wood (violin), Sarah Peacock of January/SeeFeel infamy (keyboards), Mark Rabies (bass) and Charles-Campbell Jones (vox/keyboards).They’re brand of bluesy indie rock is often compared to the likes of PJ Harvey, Nick Cave and even a grittier Loretta Lynn. The Gemma Ray Ritual are not to be missed.
