'Alba Nova are like the enchanting lovechild of an unfaithful relationship between Interpol and Mazzy Star, an intoxicating dose of heady glamour combining seductive vocals, decadent lyrics, intricate violins and dizzying
rhythms'
‘Beautiful and deeply enchanting’ AudioJunkies
‘Elegant, stunning and beautifully poetic’ Muso's Guide.

Dirty Electric have a hugely approprite name. Very dirty guitar licks on the right sound of rock to me. Fast guitars, a bit like MBV, but rockier like Queens of The Stone Age.

The Direction are a rather nattily scruffed looking band from London. Remember that scene in Get Carter when Micheal Caine goes into the rough as f**k local boozer in Newcastle? Well, imagine there was a band playing early Who covers in the corner. That's what they're like.
XFM, who then awarded them unsigned band of the week.

The Mescalitas are a 3 piece girl band based in London. They formed in May 2005 purely to make excellent music and have the most fun ever. Influences include The Kinks, Blondie, and most English Indie music from Brit Pop onwards. They write all their own music, play live, and guarantee that once you've seen them play you'll be hooked.
