PopCult Zine III - with Smoosh and The Star Fighter Pilot
So after a flurry of activity - including about 6 hours sleep over the past few days, Popular Culture (No Longer Applies To Us) Zine Issue 3 is ready to go. This one has taken a bit longer to get put together, mainly due to the fact that it is much bigger than before. A full 24 pages of fun for you - and at a price of nothing at all, that is some good value. Included in this outing we ahve got interviews with Smoosh and The Star Fighter Pilot, our Top Ten albums of 2005, more live reviews than you can shake a stick at, and some exclusive singles from both High Voltage Sounds and Dance_To_The_Radio. Which, I must admit, all adds up to a good read. Add to that yet more incredibly exclusive art work from not one, but two Lewis brothers (both Jeff AND Jack), alongside the Smoosh girl's pictoral takes on the burning issues of the day, and you have PopCult iii.
The zine will be out in Manchester tomorrow, hitting Piccadilly Records some time mid-afternoon. Then with any luck those of you not in Manchester will be able to pick up a copy in London, Leeds, Preston, Leicester, Brighton, New York, Seattle, Birmingham, and maybe somewhere in Wales. Which is a pretty extensive list. More details of where and when for other places will follow for sure. If that's still going to be too much hassle for you, then drop us a line and we will try and get a copy out in the post to you.
