A good reason to come early! Dirtblonde have been establishing themselves as the best, coolest and most rocknroll new band in Liverpool, a far cry from the nice nicey retro loveliness of The Coral/ The Zutons and all those bands from Liverpool who gave it a retro reputation. Dirtblonde reaches for the dark, sexy and nosiy realms of J&MC f**k you noise attitude. Chaotic messy gigs, broken glass, broken guitars, sweat and lipstick.

Dirtblonde already found support from the most diverse sources, including Alan McGee, who has arranged a few gigs for them in London, and likes the band so much he's agreed to come to Liverpool just to be Guest DJ at their club night F*CK, which happens at the coolest new venue in Liverpool, KOROVA.

"Dirtblonde hail from Liverpool and are a 2-piece. Their first song is a song you can’t argue with! Thrashy beats and rampant rock’n'roll. They seem so much at home that they don lipstick and stand on the speakers. This is theatre in all it’s dirty musical loveliness. Their guitars play and synchronise with each other in electric ecstasy. They rock themselves into the floor and even try to get beneath it and this is music to get lost in. This is music to dance yourself to death. Even the microphone stands become playthings in their hands. This duo have cut out any foreplay and gone straight in for the kill, to the hardcore stuff, no messing around; taken us straight to where we want to be and they keep us there, song after song.
