OK its back - Dirty Boots @ The Engine Room on Monday - last time crowds were a bit down due to the fact it was -5 degrees and 50mph winds outside - but this time we're expecting a riot.

Firstly because two of the hottest young bands in Brighton Town are playing :

At 10:45pm, 4 or 5 Magicians will take to the stage with their gloriously shambolic lo-fi rock - think early Pavement with the youthful exuberance of Tweez era Slint doing Ringo's Beatles songs. www.myspace.com/4or5magicians

At 11:30pm Catnap appear and create a storm - Sonic Youth on a treadmill set to maximum joined by Mark E Smith with ants in his pants and a lock on his drinks cabinet. Genuinely brilliant. www.myspace.com/catnapmusic
