IN BRIEF
- The Cardinals were signed to B-Unique Records (home of the Kaiser Chiefs & Ordinary Boys), but have now left the label and are set to release their debut single "All Talk" independently. Their debut album has been recorded by Youth (Urban Hymns), Owen Morris (Definately Maybe) and Ian Broudie (www.thecardinals.co.uk)

- Kill the Young are three brothers in their early twenties who deal in crashing choruses and arresting anthems (www.myspace.com/killtheyoung)

- The Pioneers are currently on tour with Starsailor and this gig is the launch party for their Northern Ambition single "So Long" (www.pioneersmusic.co.uk)

- Outsider's debut EP, featuring the radio hit "Understanding" was released on 10th October through Blue Cat Music. The band were one of the hot tips of this years In The City showcases (www.outsidermusic.net)
