HELLO TREACLE
Our tour's been fucking great fun, so thankyou everyone, especially the promoters and bands: Datapanik, iDou, The Priory, The Visions, The Reform, Dive Dive, Tricky Nixon, The KSA, Bullet Union, Brian "ROCK DAD" Quigley, Simon Cooper, Mikey Korova (an absolute gentleman, thankyou sir), Bissflaps, Neil and Miles from Baby Tiger, Rachel at the Barfly, Simon Bailey, Schmid, DJ Weez, Angela, Gibby Gurtons (as ever) and the very wonderful Mr Colin Weston. Thanks and apologies also to Dreghorn and Wirral Travelodges - next time we'll book smoking rooms and pack alarm clocks. Especially ace was the London Hallowe'en gig, which was unexpectedly packed and all the bands were on top form and loads of people turned up in costume AND me and Chapple got to wear really nice dresses.
There's still a couple of gigs left, which are local for us so we don't have to put up with Chapple's stinky feet for very long in the van:
Friday 4th November
CAMBRIDGE MAN ON THE MOON
with The Priory & The Ten Year Prospect
£4, Doors 8pm, 14+
Sunday 6th November
BURY ST EDMUNDS OLD MALTINGS
with The Once Over Twice & Forgive Is Forget
£4, Doors 7.30pm, 14+
I might wear my dress again. I like my dress. It made me feel quite... special.
MY EYES ARE DIM, I CANNOT SEE
On a bit of a downer, my glasses magically vanished just after we played in Wolverhampton, and as a result I've been stumbling around blind 'cause I can't afford new ones. I'm not accusing anyone of foul play, but I really, really need them back, so if anyone knows where they might have got to, please let me know, or just send them (anonymously if you like) to Ruby Slippers Records, 108 Great Portland St, London W1W 6PG.
XFM SESSION GOING OUT TOMORROW!
Our XFM Session will be broadcast tomorrow night (Thursday 3rd November) between 11pm-1am. I'll be doing an interview as well with John Kennedy, so tune in and listen to me spouting a mountain of shite, LIVE! If you're in London, you can tune in to XFM at 104.9FM, otherwise go to http://www.xfm.co.uk or listen on DAB.
NEW MBA INTERVIEW
We did an interview a couple of weeks back when we supported the Long Blondes at Colchester Essex Uni - it came out better than our hangovers should have allowed, and you can see it at the link below. Thanks to Owen and Jenna for buying us drinks and being rather lovely.

TERRIFYING NEWS STORY!
Anyone who wonders a) why we bother pointing out that racism is bad and b) doubts the importance or ability of music to make any kind of difference should probably read this:

(Cheers to Kate for the link.)
COMFORTING NEWS STORY!
Nu Labour officially agree that Nick Griffin really should just fuck right off:

That's just about it, except to let you know that we'll most likely be coming back to Edinburgh and Liverpool sometime before Christmas, so, hurrah (more news soon) AND that our Christmas Party is definitely on for Wednesday 14th December at Camden G-Lounge - full details to appear soon on the website.
Bye for now
love from Seymour xxx
