On Monday 7th November 2005, two students will be setting up what will be known in a while as the first great club night on a Monday in Brighton.

Dirty Boots, named jointly after a song by one of our favourite bands Sonic Youth and the state of the toilets in Brighton's premier dirty rock venue will take place just there at the Engine Room, 1 Preston Street, BN1.

We will be playing great contemporary bands like this :

LCD Soundsystem, Interpol, Futureheads, Clor, Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, British Sea Power, Young Knives, MIA, Maximo Park, Be Your Own Pet, Go Team, Chalets, Distophia, Help She Can't Swim ....

And alternative legends like this :

Sonic Youth, Pavement, Nirvana, Pixies, Beck, Fugazi, Blur, Flaming Lips, Tom Waits, Magazine, Gang Of Four, Pulp, Prodigy, Bowie, Velvet Underground, RATM, maybe even some Mansun...

Amongst hundreds of other rock, alt-rock, electro, dance, britpop, funk, punk, indie acts as far as our extensive collections takes us.
