The vintage instrumentarium of analogue archivists The Langham Research Centre comes to Zero Wave to perform a series of classic works from the mid-20th C. including JOHN CAGE’s "Cartridge Music" and CHRISTIAN WOLFF’s "Play".
Aisha Orazbayeva
Violin virtuoso who has recorded albums for both Prah and Nonclassical Records will be performing works by HELMUT LACHENMANN, IANNIS XENAKIS, along with a short improvisation for violin.
Far Rainbow
Your hosts for this evening, improvised drums + electronics.
Interval music will include the likes of Moondog, Holgar Czukay, BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Raymond Scott, The Durian Brothers, Ekoplekz, Laurie Spiegel, Bernard Parmegiani, Art Bears, Bruce Haack, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Robert Wyatt, Ennio Morricone, Oval, Suzanne Ciani, Flying Lotus, Lucky Dragons.
Drinks will be served.
